When sealing and separating tubular bag packaging with low film thicknesses, such as for lettuce, the stiffness of the module structure plays a distinct role with regard to sealing quality and consistency. The VFFS tubular bag module is optimized in terms of bending stiffness and allows high production rates with consistent sealing quality.
